Avid Protools Ultimate with two HD Protools I/O
Pro Tools HD I/O is a high-performance audio interface that enables us to capture every detail and nuance of your performance. It allows us to achieve the high fidelity, extensive dynamic range, and lowest possible latency needed for large-scale, high-profile projects.
Mic Preamps
We use high-end mic preamps to deliver a cleaner, more accurate signal, with higher gain, lower noise, less distortion, and more headroom. These include the Schertler Yellow Mic 500.
Monitoring
The control room monitors are Neumann KH310 and Yamaha NS10.
The Neumann KH310s have a beautiful midrange and tight low end that keeps the guesswork out of mixes. The high frequency drivers are detailed without being hyped. Overall these are very flat but musical sounding monitors.
The Yamaha NS10s are the industry standard nearfield monitors that you would expect to see in any professional studio.
Microphones
With over 100 microphones available we've got it covered!
As you would expect we have all the industry standard makes available including Neumann U87, Neumann U67, AKG 414 and a matched pair of Coles 4038. In addition we have vintage microphones as well as specialised models such as the Pearl MS8.
Backline
We have a great selection of valve amps, from vintage models to new, available for use in the studio. These include Laney Lionheart, Vox AC30, Marshall 50w Lead Head and Fender Concert.
Vintage Drums
There is an enviable collection of vintage Ludwig drum kits as well as a Yamaha 9000 Recording kit that are available for hire.
